Ok my charge is Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. I took my car, which my mother had given me a year prior (She held the title), without her consent and she pressed charges in order to get the law to help straighten me out. I was using marijuana and experimenting with other street drugs at the time, it was really freaking her out. She used the DA to push for rehab, which went through and I recieved 2 years of deferred ajudication probation. So, I was incarcerated for three weeks until these charges and terms were placed on me, yet the DA and Judge both felt the situation at hand wasn't sufficient enough to stick these severe charges to.. Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle is a State Jail Felony. Okay, so far, I have been given 120 hours of community service which I have fully completed, $3,000+ in court/probation fees which I have paid in full, Networking and Budget classes which I have also finished, AA/NA Group Meetings which I am currently in progress with, and six weeks of in-patient rehab which I finished with flying colors and great marks. Now for the things I've done wrong during my 2 year probation.. Early on in my probation, I admited to using alcohol (Stupid...) and then last year this date, I was issued an MIC (Minor in Consumption) on the 4th of July. I was 17 at the time of prosecution, and am now 19 nearly two years later. My relationship with my PO is great, she's younger, alot younger. Everything other than those two bumps in the road has been perfect; I've taken over 50 UA's and have still yet to fail one. But, this time around, if given a UA in the next couple of days, I will. My question is this, will by probation be revoked because of this incident? What kind of strings can be pulled with time served (from when I sat in county before I spoke with the judge, 3 for 1), Rehab (Court Ordered), and nearly all of my probation completed? This is in Tarrant County, Texas.
